Pangloss

Pangloss at Banana Island is a surreal experience. A predominantly pink world with interesting features such as flying whales and turtles and a cow being kidnapped by a flying saucer combine with pretty trees, furniture and lighting effects to make it a great place for some unusual photography.

Serenity Gardens

The Serenity Gardens are perfect for a romantic walk. The pretty spring foliage of the trees and the delicate flowers give it a painting feel and it is a lovely place to explore and experiment with windlight to capture its beauty in photographs. Nice little touches such as the bubble tree and the floating lanterns give it a magical feel without becoming tacky, a trap some similar sims often fall into.

Out of Africa

More and more often when visiting stores in SL i come across some really great settings for photography on the surrounding sim. That is what happened today whilst shopping at Izzies. Outside the store is styled as an African plain surrounded by dramatic mountains perfect for photographs. If you are planning on taking some wildlife or safari themed pictures i highly recommend a visit here

Forgotten City

The story behind the Forgotten City is that years ago machines were created to serve the rich residents. The citizens are now long gone but the automatons still guard this beautifully detailed and unusual sim creating an amazing contrast between industrial and traditional architecture. Stunning.

Les Diablerets

Les Diablerets is based upon a mix of Canadian, German and Swiss forests. The woodland set high on a mountain overlooking a beach is dense with clearings revealing widlife, great for photography and a cosy treehouse for when its time for a rest

Somewhere over the rainbow

The magical world of Oz has been recreated in second life and i love it!  I followed the yellow brick road from where Dorothys house had squished the witch, through munchkin land with its giant lollipops and pretty cottages, through the enchanted forest to the Emerald City and on to the castle which is home to the wicked witch of the west. The sim has ben created really well and makes you feel like you stepped into a storybook land.
