Let it snow...

The holiday season has descended upon old favourite Mad City. The city streets and park area are covered with snow and christmas lights twinkle round the lamposts giving it a magical feel. Even better, as part of the celebrations you can take part in the hunt or pick up a daily advent gift

New York New York

So, with some time off from work, a rl break up (thats one less christmas gift to buy! :p) and the cold dark evenings i find myself slipping more and more back into SL and this morning i took some time to explore New York with its wide shopping avenues and brownstone houses. You can shop in Soho and 5th avenue or choose to live here with rental homes on the upper west side. For he holiday season the park has been transformed into a winter wonderland where you can ice skate. More details on the sims own website here

The Sands of Time

Sands of Time is a stunning north African themed sim which contrasts perfectly lush tropical greeness with the sandy desert areas. An arabic palace is the centrepiece which overlooks the land. Couples animations are dotted around and picturesque spots to take photographs are abundant

Im back....but it got so cold in sl!!!

I've had a bit more time to spend in SL lately so i had a wander around some of the great sims i saw on flikr and collected a few landmarks including this one from Dawn of Radiance on the Lucky Radiance sim, a beautiful winter wonderland with an icy lake, sparkling tree tunnel, gypsy camp and lodge style houses dotted with wildlife. Might be time for my av to dig out a winter wardrobe!! <3
