Solaria was the 4th sim i blogged back in July when summer was at its height so i decided to return to Maverick Breens labour of love to see how it fares in winter. Still one of the most stunning places to visit in SL with something new to explore around every corner, the town has been covered with a dusting of snow and some understated decorations and trees which add to its appeal this time of year. Not the last time i will return to take pictures i am sure.
Beautiful 4 Seasons has to be a contender for he best winter themed sim i have visited so far. The friendly and helpful owner Inkie Loudwater (check out her blog here) has created a stunning space with amazing attention to detail. I really loved the furnished house all decorated and cosy ready for Christmas and the perfectly put together town square area but really i was spoilt for choice of what to take photographs of!
I apologise for this post being a little on the large size but i just loved this place!! La Caprese, home to the furniture store of the same name centres arouns a villa (the store, definately worth checking out) which tops the cliffs of a mediterranean style island. As i am fast becoming bored of snowy sims in sl (i am cold enough rl!!) this place was the perfect antidote. It really is beautiful with lush trees and plants, pretty details, stunning views and also a lovely pool area to hang out in with a loved one.
The very talented Neveah Niu, creator of one of my favourite hair brands, Iconic, has remodelled her store and placed it in a downtown setting which includes a coffee shop, town square with poseable fountains and even an underground station which is where i landed. There is also a club on the sim. It is a really nice place to take pictures and of course to shop - 2 of my favourite things! The sim will be opening to the public this weekend so go check it out <3
Animal Sanctuary covers 2 sims and is a PG HHVET Community Sim created for animal avatars to live and rp. Dotted with pretty cottages which can be rented, ponds, foliage and of course the odd animal it has a nice atmosphere. The about land says it offers horse riding lessons, carriage rides and events although i didnt see a soul (human or animal) during my visit.
