I love beaches in SL. Ever since my nooby days at Beach Life sim which i still miss 3 years after it closed! Infact if it hadnt i'd probably still be there now propping up the bar in my really bad oufits :p These days the beaches are often a lot more sophisticated and pretty such as this one, La Casa Del Tio Pablete. It includes a coffee shop, a beach club area, jacuzzi and jetty all in a lovely setting and has a really nice feeling of a surfer hangout

The Trace Re-vamped
A couple of weeks ago i posted about The Trace sim (here) and said at the time it was going to close for a few days for a makeover. Well now it has reopened and it is better than ever. From the beach complete with boardwalk and ferris wheel to the pretty country park and even a bank and a jail house, so much to see and enjoy.

Claudia in Toytown
Bech and i went shopping and landed at D-Lab when i was searching for a stuffed giraffe (i buy the most random stuff!) and i loved the place so much i had to come back the next day to do some pics so that i can share it. It really is like landing in toy town and appealed to the kid in me. The bright colours and cute cartoon like accessories, many of which you can buy in the store make it an unusal and fun place to take photographs and inside the store theres so much to see i could spend hours as well as all my lindens there!!

Bitacora Land
The creators of the fantastic Bitacora second life blog won a sim in a competition and it opened this week to the public. they have created the most amazing sim! They have taken elements from a lot of the best sims around but made theirs unique as it has the dramatic landscape of a canyon with small coves, hidden caves, a river, mountains, countryside and a pretty town square with marina. The sim is open to all and the best thing is rezzing is allowed, all they ask is that you respect the land and other residents. The sim has a little church and a beach club and these can be requested for use by second life residents via a notecard as well as requests to show art work.i have to congratulate the owners on the creation of a wonderful sim which proves they deserved to win their prize!
